HISTORY

The Lady Carmen was formerly a 45‐foot long tugboat that was sunk as an artificial reef in July 1999 off Miami. Encrusted with a thin veneer of marine life, the tug rests in 65 feet of water, listing slightly to starboard. In the immediate vicinity of the Lady Carmen, divers can also explore an 80‐foot long barge to the south, the tugs White Coast and C‐One to the east, and the 150‐foot long freighter Conception to the northeast, all of which are within easy swimming distance from each other.
