Divesite:

Resting in approximately 100 feet of water , the freighter was significantly impacted by Hurricane Andrew’s storm surge, which ripped the vessel in half and separated the two sections by approximately 100 feet. The wreck of the Sheri Lyn rests close between, but slightly offshore of the Paraiso III and Rio Miami.
