Divesite:

The approximately 70‐foot long tug Titan was scuttled approximately six nautical miles off St. Lucie Inlet in 80 feet of water. The wreck of the Titan rests upright and faces west, and is just in shore of a natural reef line known as the ”Six Mile Reef.” Divers can splash just south of the wreck, drifting northward with the prevailing current, until the wreck of the Titan is observed in the sand a short distance away from the reef. This allows divers to explore both natural reef as well as a small shipwreck on a single dive. Unfortunately, the 2004 hurricanes did impact the tug boat, ripping off the Titan’s wheelhouse structure and depositing it in the sand approximately 40 feet away from the hull.
